Get out your bike and experience southern Karmøy! Ever-changing nature with uplands along Burmaveien Road, a lush coastal landscape on the eastern side of the island, and golden strands and green pastures on the west side combine to give you a unique and memorable trip. The bustling and charming tall ships' town of Skudeneshavn is a natural starting point for your trip.

Combine your hiking trip with a visit to Skudeneshavn Take time to wander through Søragata Street, drop by the local museum if it is open. A bite to eat can be had in any of the cafés in the town centre.

Commence the trip at the ferry quay in Skudeneshavn. From Skudeneshavn take RV-47 towards Syre and Sandve and further to Ferjkingstad. From there, go east via Burmaveien Road to Blikshavn. Continue south to Skudeneshavn. All roads with the exception of the Burmaveien Road are asphalted. There is a cycle path on the stretch between Sandve and Ferkingstad.

Terrain:
Gravel track in parts alternating with a cycle path, otherwise along roads with little traffic.

From Haugesund:
Approx 40 km. Take highway RV-47 south crossing Karmsund Bridge. Continue through Åkrehamn and follow the road all the way to Skudeneshavn.
